PaySimple started as a billing and payment software provider for small service-based businesses, offering recurring billing, invoicing, and ACH/card acceptance. After acquisition by EverCommerce, it repositioned as an embedded payments infrastructure layer for vertical SaaS software partners — enabling ISVs such as ServiceFusion, DrChrono, and SalonBiz to offer native payments under their own brand. The embedded model now supports omnichannel payments (in-person via SDK, online via hosted forms, and back-office), with Worldpay from FIS as the primary acquiring partner and Stripe as a secondary processor supporting ACH and BNPL via Klarna.
