The story

MarketSharp began in 1988 as a purpose-built tool for a Midwestern window retailer and commercialized in 1996 as a CRM for home improvement contractors. In 2009 it re-platformed onto Salesforce via a VAR agreement (Improveit! 360 LLC is the contracting entity). Acquired by EverCommerce, it has since layered embedded finance on top of its vertical CRM — Payments via PaySimple (also an EverCommerce sister company) with Worldpay iQ processing, and MarketSharp Lending via Fundbox — pursuing the standard vertical-SaaS-plus-embedded-finance playbook for the contractor niche.
