The story

TEAM Software began in 1989 as a specialist back-office/ERP vendor (WinTeam) for commercial cleaning and security contractors — one of the deepest vertical SaaS niches, with 65% of the largest US security firms and 50% of the largest US cleaning firms as customers. After an Accel-KKR investment in 2019, TEAM was rolled into WorkWave in 2021, expanding its embedded-finance surface area via the shared 'WorkWave Fintech' platform. The current strategic direction is turning a vertical ERP into an embedded fintech + AI-analytics platform for labor-heavy service businesses — with Worldpay-powered integrated payments, DailyPay-powered earned wage access, and Wavelytics AI decision intelligence layered on top of WinTeam.
