The story

Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) is a 45-year-old UK-headquartered vertical ERP vendor for wholesale distribution, automotive aftermarket, rental, field service, manufacturing and retail. In July 2024 KCS acquired Klipboard to add field service management, and subsequently rebranded the entire group under the Klipboard name. In February 2026 the company launched Klipboard Money, moving beyond pure ERP into embedded payments — its first substantive embedded-finance play, competing with standalone card acquirers by integrating settlement and reconciliation into its ERP platforms.
