Supplier profile · from Outpave’s own dossier

Outpave started in 2023 as a direct-to-SMB spend management product aimed at trades, contractors, property managers, and field services — business debit cards, expense tracking, bill pay, and invoicing on top of Stripe Issuing + Stripe Treasury. By 2026 the company had pivoted into a white-label 'financial applications' platform: the same card + expense + bill pay + invoicing stack, but built and operated in the customer's brand for vertical SaaS, marketplaces, OTAs, ERPs, and banks/credit unions. Outpave-for-business continues as the reference implementation of its own platform. Sept 2026: pivoted from a direct spend-management product for trades/construction SMBs to a white-label embedded-finance application layer for platforms ("Outpave Platform"), provider-agnostic on issuing.

Key signals
  • Sept 2026 relaunch: from direct SMB spend management to a white-label embedded-finance application layer for platforms, banks and fintechs — Outpave is now a supplier as well as a buyer.
  • Provider-agnostic issuing: the platform pitch says 'through your issuing provider'; Outpave's own program runs on Stripe Issuing/Treasury with Celtic Bank and Fifth Third.
  • Astrada powers connected-card (BYOC) transaction monitoring across Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
  • SOC 2 'ready', not certified (security page, Sept 2026).
  • Accounting connectivity is bought, not built: Apideck (unified accounting API) sits behind the QuickBooks/Xero/Sage sync — provider-attested, no public disclosure yet.
