The story

Stan launched as a creator-focused link-in-bio commerce platform, enabling influencers and content creators to sell digital products, courses, coaching sessions, and memberships directly from a single storefront URL. The platform embedded Stripe and PayPal as payment processors from early on, then layered in BNPL options (Afterpay, Klarna) to expand purchasing power for fans. Stan's embedded finance strategy is primarily payments-as-plumbing: monetising the creator economy without building proprietary financial infrastructure, relying instead on Stripe's Custom Accounts model for payouts.
