The story

PCI Booking spun out of an online faxing company (InterFAX) when the team realized hotel reservation faxes containing card data created a PCI compliance problem worth solving as its own product. Launched PCI Shield in 2016 for travel, then broadened into a universal payment gateway and tokenization platform. In 2018, when the faxing parent was acquired, PCI Booking was spun out as an independent business. The company later launched Orchestra, a payment orchestration brand extending the same tokenization infrastructure to non-travel verticals.
