“Can a corporate learning content aggregator become the L&D operating system by embedding budget/payment workflows and AI agents on top of its content marketplace?”
Go1 started in 2015 as a content-aggregator LMS out of Brisbane and Y Combinator, positioning itself as 'the Netflix of corporate training' by consolidating 250+ content providers into a single subscription. Through 2019–2022 it scaled into an enterprise-focused L&D platform and became an edtech unicorn. More recently, Go1 has extended beyond content into workflow: Go1Pay (2024) adds embedded finance — pre-funded learning wallets with virtual cards for employee learning stipends — and Morgan by Go1 (2026) adds an AI agent layer, moving the company from content library to L&D operating system.
