Dentrix pioneered dental PMS on Windows in 1989, was acquired by Henry Schein in 1997, and in 2018 was folded into Henry Schein One — a joint venture with Internet Brands that consolidated Henry Schein's dental technology portfolio. Embedded payments (Dentrix Pay, Dentrix Enterprise Pay, Dentrix Ascend Pay) are exclusively powered by Worldpay and represent Dentrix's primary embedded-finance surface, alongside an insurance claims clearinghouse for dental payers.
