The story
Founded in 2017 to solve a gap co-founder Viral Kanabar experienced first-hand as an accounting-firm partner: cloud tools like Xero/Class/BGL handled half the work, while workpapers and reconciliation remained manual. Cloudoffis started narrow with SMSF Auditomation, expanded into SMSF Sorted Pro for fund preparers, and in 2024 broke out of SMSF with Tax Sorted (rebranded Workpapers Sorted in 2026) — a bid to become the AI workpapers layer for the broader Australian accounting profession.
