The story

ChannelEngine started in 2013 as a marketplace listing/order integration layer for brands and retailers on Amazon, eBay and other online marketplaces. After a $50M Series B in 2022 the company scaled into a broader ecommerce operating platform covering 1,300+ channels. In 2026 it extended into agentic commerce — plugging merchants into ChatGPT and other AI shopping surfaces via the Agentic Commerce Protocol — while explicitly keeping payment settlement on the merchant's own Stripe/Adyen accounts rather than becoming a payment facilitator itself.
