The story

Boomi is an integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) vendor founded in 2000, acquired by Dell in 2010, and spun back out in 2021 to Francisco Partners and TPG at a $4B valuation. Its core business is application/data integration, API management, and — increasingly — AI-agent connectors to enterprise systems. It is not itself an embedded-finance company; its exposure to the space is as an integration middleware layer that connects finance systems (accounting via Apideck) into AI-agent workflows.
