Founded in 2021 by Rappi veterans who experienced LATAM payment fragmentation firsthand, Yuno launched as a no-code payment orchestration layer enabling merchants to connect multiple PSPs via a single API. By 2023–2024, it expanded aggressively beyond LATAM into 190+ countries, repositioning from a regional routing tool to a global payments infrastructure platform. In 2025–2026, Yuno pivoted toward AI-native infrastructure — adding agentic commerce, NOVA AI, Payments Concierge, and stablecoin rails — and declared itself the 'AI-Native Operating System of Global Commerce', signaling ambitions to embed deeper into merchants' and banks' financial stacks beyond pure orchestration.
