The story

WisdomTree started as an ETF sponsor in 2006 and grew into a top global ETF/ETP issuer. Beginning around 2022 it pivoted into on-chain finance: launching WisdomTree Prime (a retail app for tokenized funds, stablecoins, and crypto), securing an NYDFS trust charter in 2024, issuing a Visa debit card via Stride Bank, and appointing BNY as its BaaS provider in 2025. It is now positioning WisdomTree Connect and its tokenized Treasury money market fund (WTGXX) as institutional infrastructure for on-chain finance.
