The story
WESS (operated by Refine Solutions Pte Ltd) is a Singapore-born vertical SaaS platform for beauty, spa, and salon businesses, launched in 2012 as a sectoral ICT initiative with IDA and SWAS. It has expanded across Singapore and Malaysia, serving 1,100+ merchants with appointment, POS, CRM, inventory and marketing modules. Its Consumer Web App added consumer-facing booking and online payment (debit/credit + PayNow), positioning WESS as a lightweight embedded-payments layer for salons rather than a full financial services provider.
