“Can a self-storage management software own the payments layer of every U.S. storage facility?”
Founded 1996 in Raleigh as a Windows-based self-storage management software vendor, SiteLink evolved into a cloud platform serving 15,000+ facilities. It layered on payment processing in 2014 (SiteLink Merchant Services, an ISO of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. via Applied Merchant Group / Sunstone Merchant Services) to monetize the payment flow itself. After 2018 acquisition by SpareFoot (backed by Cove Hill Partners), SiteLink became part of what is now Storable — the self-storage vertical-SaaS consolidator that also owns storEDGE and SpareFoot. As of 2026 the SiteLink brand is being folded into storable.com.
