Founded 2017 in San Francisco to modernize EDI — the decades-old, mapping-heavy protocol that runs retail/supply-chain document exchange. Grew a shared, certified trading partner network (10,000+ partners, 500M+ transactions) so customers could connect once and trade with anyone. In 2025 shipped Mosaic, an AI-native product that removes the per-partner mapping work entirely, and raised a $35M Series C from Koch Disruptive Technologies to lean into the AI-EDI narrative. Orderful is a supply-chain SaaS/infrastructure company — not an embedded finance provider.
