The story

Founded in 1992 as a prepaid card distributor, InComm built one of the largest point-of-sale gift card and prepaid network infrastructures in North America. Over the 2010s it expanded from pure distribution into program management and card processing (InComm Financial Services), taking on sponsor bank relationships with Pathward and others to issue reloadable debit and benefits cards. The company has evolved into a multi-division business spanning gift cards, employee benefits (HSA/FSA/HRA), healthcare supplemental benefits, and a dedicated payments technology arm — positioning itself as embedded payment infrastructure for retailers, health plans, and enterprise clients rather than a consumer-facing fintech.
