The story

Founded in 2013 as a direct small business lender focused on invoice financing and lines of credit, Fundbox built proprietary ML-driven credit decisioning to serve underserved SMBs. Over time it evolved from a direct-to-SMB lender into an embedded capital platform, allowing third-party SaaS platforms and marketplaces to white-label and natively embed its full suite of credit products via API. By 2024, Fundbox had processed $6B+ in capital across 500K+ businesses and was repositioning as embedded lending infrastructure, reflected by its API-first partner program and adoption of LoanPro for loan lifecycle management.
