“Can a Brazilian SMB ERP become the operating system — and the licensed bank — for every small business and its accountant?”
Conta Azul started in 2011 as a cloud ERP for Brazilian micro and small businesses, focused on financial control, invoicing (NF-e/NFS-e/NFC-e) and the accountant relationship. Over the last five years it has aggressively embedded finance: it obtained its own Brazilian Payment Institution license (Contaazul IP), operates as a correspondent bank of Banco BTG Pactual, launched an in-house Conta PJ business account with Pix, boleto, cards and receivables discounting, and layered on receivables financing (own product plus Adiante for NF-e financing). It is now a vertical SaaS + own-brand BaaS platform for Brazilian SMBs and their accountants.
