The story

ANZ is one of Australia's Big Four banks with roots in 1835. In recent years it has focused on a digital-native rebuild via ANZ Plus (launched 2022) alongside its legacy ANZ App, and expanded scale through the 2024 acquisition of Suncorp Bank. Institutional business runs through ANZ Transactive Global, Fileactive and its Developer Portal, which now expose APIs (payments, PayTo, account information) as an embedded-finance-adjacent capability for corporates.
