The story

Founded 2019 as a revenue-based financing platform for e-commerce merchants, using marketing and transaction data to underwrite cash advances. Expanded into term loans and rolling financing as the customer base matured. In 2024 launched a business banking account (powered by Thread Bank) to capture both the funding disbursement and supplier-payment workflow. In Oct 2025 launched Hosted Capital, repositioning Wayflyer from a direct lender into embedded-finance infrastructure that any commerce platform can integrate to offer financing to its users.
