Vetspire is a cloud-based, AI-first veterinary PIMS founded in 2017 with a medicine-first (rather than billing-first) design. The company was acquired by Pathway Vet Alliance / Thrive Pet Healthcare and now operates as a subsidiary serving both independent clinics and Thrive's enterprise network. Embedded finance is intentionally light — Vetspire integrates with third-party card processors (CardConnect/Fiserv, Stripe, Square) and third-party consumer financing options (CareCredit, Scratchpay, Snap Finance, Fortiva, All Pet Card, Pumpkin) rather than operating its own payments or lending rails.
