The story

Founded in 2018 as a modular issuer-processor and acquirer in Europe, Tribe Payments has evolved into a full-stack payments infrastructure orchestrator serving fintechs, banks, and acquirers. The company expanded beyond pure card processing into BaaS connectivity (Bank Connect), white-label digital banking, open banking APIs, and FX/multi-currency capabilities. Tribe is notable for being Europe's only processor supporting all six major card schemes (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, UnionPay International, Discover, and JCB) through a single integration, and has built an ecosystem of banking and FX partner integrations including ClearBank, Banking Circle, and Currencycloud.
