“Can a failed direct RBF lender reinvent itself as the orchestration layer for European SME funding?”
Founded in 2020 as a direct Revenue-Based Financing lender for European e-commerce, Silvr deployed €150M+ (reportedly €250M+) to 2,000+ businesses between 2020-2024. In 2025 it pivoted away from being a balance-sheet lender and relaunched as an orchestrator / broker — a one-API gateway into 50+ funding partners for SMEs. The direct lending book was ultimately wound down and Silvr's assets were taken over by Karmen in November 2025.
Silvr's lending and capital products are provided by Karmen.
Silvr connects to bank accounts through Bankin.
The Embedded Finance Index 2026 maps 2 layers in Silvr's stack: Lending (Karmen, Silvr Partners (orchestration API), Working capital & cash flow financing, Authorised overdraft and 3 others); Open banking (Bankin).
Silvr was founded by Nima Karimi and Gregory Tappero and is founded in 2020, headquartered in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.
