The story

Founded in 2025 by Sean Mullaney (formerly European CIO at Stripe, CTO at Algolia), Seapoint was built from inception as an AI-native financial operating system for funded European startups. Rather than a traditional neobank, it targets the fragmented finance stack of early-stage companies — combining open-banking-powered bank aggregation, automated bookkeeping synced to Xero, payroll, invoice management, multi-currency accounts, virtual cards, and treasury yield into one platform. The embedded finance infrastructure is assembled via Modulr (BaaS/payments), Yapily (open banking), and WealthKernel (investments), with AI automation as the differentiation layer.
