The story

Founded in 2016 as a private banking technology consultancy, Plumery registered as a brand in 2017 and transitioned into an independent product company in 2022, backed by venture capital. The company — founded by ex-Mambu and Backbase veterans — pivoted from consultancy to building a cloud-native, headless digital banking experience platform designed to be layered on top of banks' existing core banking systems. Its embedded finance strategy centres on providing composable, API-first front-end infrastructure that banks and fintechs use to accelerate digital product delivery, with key embedded modules spanning KYC, AML, open banking, and digital lending.
