The story

Founded in 2007 as an IT help desk ticketing tool, mHelpDesk pivoted to field service management for HVAC, cleaning, contractors and home services. Bootstrapped through its early years, it was acquired by HomeAdvisor (Angi) and now operates as a subsidiary focused on SMB service pros. Embedded finance surface area is narrow: card acceptance via mHelpDesk Payments plus integrations to Stripe, PayPal, and Authorize.Net, with QuickBooks as the accounting sync.
