The story

Founded in 2007 as a direct-to-consumer online menswear brand centered on better-fitting pants, Bonobos pioneered the 'try in store, ship to home' Guideshop model. After a high-profile Walmart acquisition in 2017, the brand operated under the retail giant's e-commerce umbrella. In 2023, Walmart divested Bonobos to WHP Global and Express, and the brand now operates as Express BNBS Fashion, LLC — a DTC fashion label with embedded BNPL financing via Affirm.
