“Can a white-label spend-management platform help regional banks reclaim commercial card and payables share from fintech challengers like Brex and Ramp?”
Founded in 2018 (formerly Priv8Pay) as an expense and payment management platform aimed at businesses, Zact pivoted to a bank-first, white-label distribution model. Rather than competing with banks like Brex or Ramp, Zact now sells its commercial card, expense, AP, travel and rebate modules to community and mid-market banks who deploy it under their own brand, on their existing processor/network rails — positioning itself as infrastructure for banks to retain commercial deposits and interchange.
Zact integrates with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Xero.
Zact was founded by John Thomas and is founded in 2018, headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, United States.
