The story

Founded in 2019 as WOO CASH SAL, a licensed Lebanese cash money transfer company. Rebranded to Whish Money in 2021 and expanded into digital wallets, obtaining a BDL e-wallet license in 2022. Has since evolved into a multi-product fintech offering a Visa-branded card, merchant payment gateway (Whish Pay), corporate payroll disbursement, bill payments, and international remittance — positioning itself as the primary cashless financial platform for Lebanon's underbanked population and its diaspora.
