The story

Vitesse was founded in 2014 as a cross-border payments business by the team behind Envoy Services (sold to Worldpay in 2011). Between 2015-2020 it served corporate, HR and commerce use cases. A decisive 2021 pivot narrowed the company to the insurance vertical — a treasury and claims-payment platform for carriers, MGAs, TPAs and brokers. The Lloyd's FCP partnership in 2022 became its flagship and the 2024 KKR-led Series C plus NYDFS trust charter set up the US expansion around Vitesse Trust Company.
