The story

Founded in 1995 as the internet's first freight load board, Truckstop spent three decades building a matching + carrier-vetting platform for brokers and carriers. Beginning in the late 2010s under Bregal Sagemount PE ownership, the company expanded aggressively into embedded finance for freight — first with its own non-recourse factoring product, then a co-branded Fuel Card (issued by Celtic Bank, powered by AtoB), and in 2025 the acquisition of Denim to add recourse factoring, AI-driven invoicing, and AP/AR automation. The strategic direction is clear: become the operating and financial system for the US freight ecosystem, monetizing payments and financing on top of the load board.
