Toka

Can a 20-year-old Mexican payroll-benefits card company become the financial super-app for enterprises and their employees — owning benefits disbursement, spend control, earned-wage access, and daily financial services in one platform?

The story

Founded as a traditional Mexican employee-benefits voucher company, Toka progressively digitized its product stack over 20+ years — moving from paper vouchers to prepaid Visa cards, then to a full digital wallet and Super App ecosystem. The company expanded from pantry/food benefits into fuel fleet management, corporate spend control, and most recently embedded financial services (earned-wage access, health coverage, travel) within a super-app that also integrates government social benefit programmes. The strategic thrust is positioning Toka as the financial OS for Mexican enterprises and their workforce.
