The story

Timo launched in 2015 as Vietnam's first digital bank, riding on VPBank's license, then re-platformed onto BVBank in 2020 after a high-profile banking-partner switch. The 2022 AWS migration and subsequent Mambu core-banking re-platforming repositioned Timo from a thin marketing layer over a host bank to a genuinely cloud-native digital bank, opening up embedded finance distribution via partner ecosystem (100+ partners) and product expansion into BNPL via Kredivo.
