Founded in 1997 as Studio Suite, a niche studio management tool for creative production teams. Adatasol, Inc. took over operations in 2018 under president Dan Weiss. Rebranded to Studio Hero in 2025 to modernize the brand and reposition as an all-in-one platform spanning scheduling, production, crew, finance, equipment, and media asset management. No embedded finance ambitions visible — remains a pure vertical SaaS product with QuickBooks as its financial system of record.
