The story
SnelStart spent four decades as a Dutch accounting software vendor for SMEs and accountants. From 2024 it began bolting embedded financial services onto its core ledger: PSD2 bank connections, then SnelStart Bankieren (a business bank account powered by Flow on Adyen rails), then in-product lending via LoanStreet after Rabobank wound down its Factuur Financiering partnership in mid-2025. The 2025 acquisition of the Flow team formalised banking as a first-class product line.
