The story

Selar launched in 2016 as a creator-commerce platform for African entrepreneurs selling digital products, courses, tickets and services. It has expanded from a Nigeria-focused Paystack merchant into a multi-currency creator platform live in 15+ African countries with support for 10+ currencies, adding Stripe/PayPal rails, Klarna BNPL and Apple/Google Pay for international buyers. The embedded finance layer remains primarily payment acceptance and multi-currency settlement — Selar is not itself a licensed financial institution.
