The story

Q2 began as a digital banking software vendor selling to community banks and credit unions. Over time it expanded into commercial banking, lending (PrecisionLender, Cloud Lending), and BaaS via the acquisition of Cambr — which was rebranded to Helix by Q2 and now powers embedded finance for fintechs and consumer brands. The current thesis blends the FI-facing digital banking platform with Helix (fintech-facing BaaS) and an AI layer (Andi Copilot, Q2 Code) built on Anthropic and AWS Bedrock.
