The story
Mainteny was founded in 2020 by Tom Chenna, formerly of a global lift company, to reduce the administrative burden on SME maintenance companies (lifts, HVAC, service). The product is a cloud-based, all-in-one ERP/field-service SaaS covering quoting, invoicing, contracts, scheduling and a technician mobile app. Embedded finance is not a core product line — Mainteny remains a vertical SaaS, layering payments and accounting/banking connectors via Stripe, GoCardless and third-party accounting integrations rather than operating financial products itself.
