The story

LATAM Airlines Group is the result of the 2012 LAN-TAM merger and is the largest airline group in South America. Beyond core ticket sales, LATAM has built a meaningful embedded-finance surface: LATAM Wallet (a stored-value/refund wallet for passengers), UATP corporate line-of-credit acceptance for B2B travel buyers, embedded travel insurance via Assist Card, and a multi-country acquiring footprint accepting cards plus local rails (PIX, PSE, SafetyPay).
