The story

Founded in 2000 as Takeaway.com, a Dutch online food ordering marketplace, the company expanded across Europe before merging with Just Eat in 2020. Beyond its core marketplace model, JET has layered in embedded finance products — most notably the Takeaway Pay Card in 2021, a corporate meal benefit card powered by Adyen — targeting both its own employees and B2B corporate clients. The company also uses OneStream with an IFRS tax template to manage its increasingly complex international tax reporting.
