The story

Founded in 2014 as NEC Payments, a Bahrain-licensed card processor focused on digital banking and payment processing infrastructure in the Middle East. Extended its license to payment services and joined Mastercard as a principal member in 2018, broadening its network reach. In 2021, rebranded to Infinios and was acquired by nDigital Holdings SPC, repositioning as a full-stack BaaS and payment infrastructure provider for banks, fintechs, PSPs, and enterprises. By 2026, Infinios activated live stablecoin settlement with Mastercard, signaling a pivot toward next-generation stablecoin-enabled payment rails alongside its traditional card issuing and processing business.
