“Can a bootstrapped vertical SaaS win the independent short-term rental host segment by staying simpler than Guesty/Hostaway while still shipping AI-native guest ops?”
Started 2015 as AirGMS, an Airbnb-only guest management tool. Rebranded to iGMS to move beyond a single OTA and support Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com in one channel manager. Bootstrapped for 10+ years, iGMS has remained a vertical SaaS play for independent hosts and small property managers, layering payments (via Stripe), automation, and — most recently — AI guest messaging on top of the channel manager core. There is no embedded banking, lending, or card issuing product; payments are entirely outsourced to Stripe.
iGMS processes payments through Stripe.
iGMS uses Stripe for FX and cross-border payouts.
iGMS's embedded insurance is provided by Safely, InsuraGuest, Superhog and Sure.
The Embedded Finance Index 2026 maps 3 layers in iGMS's stack: Payments / PSP (Stripe); Insurance (Safely, InsuraGuest, Superhog and Sure); FX & payouts (Stripe).
iGMS was founded by Ivan Levchenko and Igor Kostin and is founded in 2015, headquartered in Seattle, WA, United States (legal entity: AirGMS Technologies Inc.).
