The story

Founded in 1980 as dESCO, FieldEdge invented field service management software for HVAC contractors. In 2018 Advent International acquired FieldEdge and merged it with payments processor Clearent, then combined the group under the Xplor Technologies umbrella. Today FieldEdge operates as 'FieldEdge by Xplor' — a vertical SaaS platform for home service contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) with embedded payments (FieldEdge Payments powered by Xplor Pay, formerly Clearent) and embedded capital (Xplor Capital) supplied by its parent.
