Dolfin is an embedded financial-operations API founded in 2025 by veterans of CurrencyCloud, TrueLayer, Codat, Monite, Fidel API and Crezco. Rather than sell yet another SMB finance tool, it packages agentic accounts-receivable, accounts-payable, expense and (soon) payroll workflows that vertical SaaS platforms, fintechs, PSPs and banks embed under their own brand. The thesis is that SMB platforms are becoming operating systems and the layer that owns invoicing, billing, reconciliation and payments will own the SMB financial stack.
