Founded 2016 as Dr Focused, rebranded to Credentially (legal entity Appraise Me Limited) targeting healthcare onboarding automation. Originally UK/NHS-focused (DBS, NMC, GMC, HCPC checks); pivoted upmarket into US healthcare in recent years, adding SAM/OIG exclusion checks, state licensure and HIPAA-aligned data residency. Not an embedded-finance company — a vertical SaaS compliance platform with a very light payments footprint (Stripe + GoCardless for its own subscription billing only).
