The story

CoConstruct is a residential construction management SaaS founded in 2004 to serve custom home builders and remodelers. In 2021 it announced a partnership with Buildertrend (and CBUSA); it has since been folded into Buildertrend and is now sunsetting, actively migrating its customer base onto the Buildertrend platform. Embedded finance was always narrow — client invoicing via Stripe + Plaid for ACH — and never expanded into BaaS, lending, or card issuing.
