Founded in 2019 as a Brazilian employee benefits platform (multi-benefit Visa card), Caju expanded from benefit card issuance to a full HR & finance stack — adding corporate expense management, people/HRIS management, health & wellness benefits, and mobility. The company subsequently entered lending via a banking correspondent relationship with Celcoin (VIA CAPITAL SCD), offering consignado privado (payroll-deducted loans) to employees of its 65,000+ client companies, effectively transforming from a benefits card issuer into a horizontal HR-tech platform with embedded finance.
