The story

Billdr was founded in 2020 as a homeowner-facing marketplace to simplify the renovation experience, gaining traction with 5,000+ homeowners in Montreal, Toronto, and Chicago. In June 2023, the company pivoted to build construction management software for SMB general contractors after learning that contractors' workflow pain (quoting, invoicing, project tracking) was the real bottleneck. Today Billdr PRO serves nearly 1,000 construction businesses and is layering AI-native tools (estimator, copilot, receptionist) on top of the core SaaS.
